About Me

I am a teaching DP at Glenbrae School. I am passionate about teaching mathematics and literacy to middle and senior students in Years 4 - 8. I love learning and I am keen on trying out new ways of teaching students using their digital devices. I have transformed from being a helicopter teacher to a teacher who empowers students to learn independently. I reflect on my teaching, take part in Teaching as Inquiry to improve my teaching capacity. I notice and respond to students' needs. I learn about my students and this helps me teach well, provide suitable resources and contexts for teaching. I love teaching and get very excited when students learn and do better than their best.
